CFFC Celebrates 30th Anniversary of ARCF
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of ARCF, our board voted to donate 30 books to each of the Faulkner County Library facilities:  Conway, Greenbrier, Vilonia, Mayflower and Twin Groves.  We worked with the librarian in Conway to order books totaling $1500--a combination of children and adult books and a combination of fiction and nonfiction.  The books were on display at the Conway library, and a celebratory reception was held for the community.

Kidzcamp in Greenbrier

Volunteer Rhonda Garrett shares her pet raccoon, Ringo, with campers at Greenbrier's Kidzcamp.  The summer daycamp was funded in part with a grant from the Community Foundation of Faulkner County and included sessions in physical activity, arts and crafts, music, heritage and culture, wildlife and nature, and making healthy choices.  The week-long camp, sponsored by the Greenbrier City Event Center, was a pilot program for elementary and middle school youths in an effort to provide positive and supervised activities during summer vacation.
