The Southeast Arkansas Community Foundation makes grants to help improve the quality of life in our community.  Find out below information about our grantmaking process and grantmaking stories.

The Southeast Arkansas Community Foundation has an unrestricted grantmaking fund that allows us to assess the community’s needs and make grants to nonprofit organizations to support those needs. This fund awarded $10,000 in grants during the July 1, 2003 – June 30, 2004 fiscal year to the following nonprofit organizations:

  • Main Street Historic Preservation Advisory Board
  • Eudora Chamber of Commerce
  • Eudora Fire Department
  • Delta Men's Association
  • Parkdale Fire Department
  • Eudora Garden Club
  • Chicot Memorial Hospital
  • Dermott Historical Museum
  • Wilmot Fire and Rescue
  • J. Austin White Cultural Center

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you
do not care who gets the credit." -- Harry Truman

The Southeast Arkansas Community Foundation is continuing to build our unrestricted fund through participating in the ARCF PARTNERS program, which is funded by a major grant to the Arkansas Community Foundation by the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation.  If your organization would like to learn more about our grantmaking process and grantmaking guidelines, please contact Barbara Knapp at eudoracofc@sbcglobal.net
